Are you a road-less-travelled kind of person? Would you like to experience a beautiful, quieter, less touristy part of Nova Scotia? Join us for an afternoon of adventure through Tanner's Pass and Lunenburg's back passage - a pristine part of the Atlantic Ocean.
Why call it an expedition? Well, primarily because we're going to be flexible! If there are puffins in the area, we'll go see the puffins. If there are seals or other marine mammals close by, we're going to say hi. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, we will pivot to a safer experience. We love options!
There's nothing wrong with following everyone to the Halifax Citadel or Peggy's Cove. They're great! But if you're ready to ditch the crowds and connect with nature, book with Black Rocks Expeditions.
Deb has spent most of her professional career working as a photographer and manager in various levels of government. She has also spent several years as a naturalist guide in Canada’s sub-arctic. What really fulfills her is teaching others about the flora, fauna and history and creating a passion in them for even the smallest of nature’s wonders.
Jason is an award-winning photojournalist and certified polar guide.
